Intro to Cloud Storage
Wednesday, October 5, 3:00-4:00 p.m.
Cloud storage services are a great way to back up and share your files. In this class, we’ll learn the basics of how cloud storage works and explore some of the most popular options.

Beginner Cricut
Wednesday, October 19, 3:00-4:00 p.m.
Learn what you need to get started using a Cricut machine. Topics include: supplies and machine parts, setting up an account, navigating the Cricut Design Space, and working with different media.

Android Basics
Wednesday, October 26, 3:00-4:00 p.m.
Learn the basics of operating an Android phone or tablet. Topics will include: your Google account, the Play Store, basic apps, Wi-Fi, settings, downloading apps, security tips, and more!


November Classes

iPhone Basics
Thursday, November 3, 3:00-4:00 p.m.
Learn the basics of operating and discover useful tips and tricks. Topics include: Wi-Fi, Apple IDs, using the keyboard, using iOS, and more. 

3D Printing Basics
Tuesday, November 8, 3:00-4:00 p.m.
Want to learn how to print 3D objects at the library? This class will show you how to use our 3D printer and the basics of 3D modeling and printing. Topics will include: how to use the library’s 3D printer, 3D models and where to find them, and how to create your own models. 

Intro to Online Payment Systems
Thursday, November 10, 3:00-4:00 p.m.
Discover how to manage and handle money transfers electronically! We will be discussing PayPal, Venmo, CashApp, Apple Pay, and more.

Creating a Christmas Card with Canva
Thursday, November 17, 3:00-4:00 p.m.
Create a personalized Christmas or holiday card to wish your loved ones happy holidays! We will be using the graphic design website Canva. You’ll be able to upload your own pictures or choose from hundreds of templates and stock photos. Basic computer skills and an email address are needed for this class.


December Classes

Apple vs Windows
Thursday, December 1, 3:00-4:00 p.m.
Are you thinking of buying a new PC, laptop, or phone and not sure what brand to go with? By the end of this class, you will have a better understanding as to what devices will provide you with the optimal technology experience for your wants and needs.

Tech Talk sessions are tailored to meet the specific needs of the individual. Book a 30-minute appointment with our Technology Coordinator or our Guiding Ohio Online Technology Trainers to have in-depth technical assistance on topics such as starting an email account, smart devices, downloading e-books and audiobooks, using the Internet, or other computer basics.
