Adults living in Columbiana, but unable to venture out to the library may apply for Homebound Library Service.
Those using the Homebound Library Service may check out library material (except DVDs) for a four week period. There are no renewals, but there will be no fines for overdue items.
Those interested in the position will need to call the library for information on register for a card and filling out a questionnaire with the patron’s reading interests and their address.
Once the patron is signed up for the service, they may call into the library requesting materials and our reference staff will pull a selection of titles to be checked out. Then the Library will contact someone from the list of delivery volunteers to pick up and deliver the items. If the patron has items to return, it is requested to have the items ready to be returned with the delivery volunteer.
