Schools, nursing homes, assisted living homes, and other institutions of this nature in the state of Ohio are eligible for Institution cards.
Library materials (aside from specialty items) are available for check out on this card. Books, music CDs, and audiobooks are automatically checked out for a six-week period. DVDs and Blu-Rays will check out for one week. There is no limit to the number of books, music CDs, or books on CD. There is a limit of ten DVDs that can be checked out at one time.
No fines will be charged for overdue materials. However, overdue notices will be sent as reminders when items are past due.
To sign up for an Institution card, the administrator of the institution (or similar job title) is required to sign for the card. These cards will need to be renewed yearly.
