“Unearth a Story!” Stop by the Adult Department Reference Desk beginning June 1 to pick up your map and begin your dig. Earn an entry for each book you read or listen to through the summer. Entries for prize baskets can also be earned by attending library programs.

Celebrate America’s culinary history with us! In June, we will travel back to pioneer times and learn to make homemade butter and johnny cakes. Then we will visit the ice cream socials from the Gilded Age in July and make strawberry ice cream and tea sandwiches. These programs are supported by the State Library of Ohio with federal funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Sciences.

Stop by the Circulation Desk to pick up a Spice of the Month kit! Each kit comes with the origin of the spice, recipes it pairs well with, and a sample of the spice to try. June’s spice is Caraway Seed and July’s is Furikake Seasoning. Available while supplies last.
