The Library is offering a Classroom card for local schools. The classroom teacher would be able to check out up to 50 items for a 6 week period with no renewals. This includes 10 holiday books, 2 teacher packs, 2 teacher kits, and 1 steam kit. The teacher would also be able to check out 2 movies for a 2 week period.
Library reference staff are happy to assist in collecting themed materials for teachers (i.e. fall, apples, space, safety). The Library is also open to delivering materials to the classrooms and picking up old materials.
Items should not leave the classroom to prevent the loss of items.
No fines will be charged for overdue materials. However, overdue notices will be sent as reminders when items are past due.
To sign up for a classroom card, the Principal or Superintendent of the school will be required to sign for the card. You can call the library at 330-482-5509 and ask to speak to the Director or email the Director at director@columbiana.lib.oh.us
